This article provides instructions to help consumers link non-individual accounts with major data holders using CDR.

Refer to the table below for instructions on how to link non-individual accounts using CDR for major data holders.
Data holders must provide their non-individual and partnership customers with a service that allows the customer to:
nominate representatives
revoke those nominations
The data holder can provide this service as an online service or an offline service.
Data Holders | Instructions |
CommBank | CommBank offers an online service to nominate a representative of non-individual accounts. In the CBA mobile app, go to Profile > Data Sharing.

Westpac | Westpac enables customers to nominate a representative of non-individual accounts online. A list of eligible accounts in CDR is available here

Macquarie Bank | Individual account holders (i.e. persons and not non-individuals) can share their CDR data via the consent flow with these accounts appearing automatically. For non-individuals (i.e. companies), they must first nominate a nominated representative. St.George | Organisations must complete the form as required by St.George to nominate or remove an Nominated Representative. Each Nominated Representative must have their own individual credentials to access Internet Banking.

Bankwest | You can choose another person as a data sharing delegate for eligible individual, sole trader and joint accounts. They must have an authority to transact on your account, be over 18 and registered for online banking. Your data sharing delegate will then be able to set up data sharing with accredited data recipients without further approval. For joint accounts enabled for sharing, any account holder can set up another person as a data sharing delegate without the approval of other account holders. The data sharing delegate can share data for the joint account without further approval from the other account holders. We’ll let all account holders know when this happens. Any account holder will also be able to stop sharing data from the joint account at any time. Any account holder can remove a data sharing delegate from sharing at any time. To remove a data sharing delegate, go to ‘Manage data sharing’ in the Bankwest App or online banking and selecting ‘Data sharing delegates’.

Bank Australia | Non-personal accounts: the signatories can appoint nominated representatives to share Open Banking data with Accredited Data Recipients on behalf of the organisation by completing the for non-personal accounts. ME Bank | To be nominated, the individual must also an authorised representative on the account and have internet banking access to the business accounts. A nominated representative can be authorised for data sharing as part of the account opening process which can be found on our website when or by submitting a change of details form.
